The Maryland Boating Safety Course is now available online:
If you were born after July 1, 1972 you are required to take the Maryland Boating Safety Course. The good news is that it’s something you can do online and it is inexpensive. It is advised education no matter when you were born. There is no minimum age to take the course so you should include your children in the process.
You may complete the course at your own pace. The course can be completed in one sitting or a little at a time over several days. Log in and out at any time, and they will keep track of your progress. Most students finish the course in a few hours.
This official training program is developed to meet the standards for Boating safety education established by Maryland.
