Cal 22
The CAL 22 concept was developed with the understanding that most people will use a boat this size as a daysailer, but weekend and overnight accommodations are also important. There is an enormous 7’2” cockpit encompassing contoured seats and surrounded by coaming and deck surfaces that are comfortable underneath you. Beneath one cockpit seat is the fuel tank locker, and under the other cockpit seat is storage for sails, gear, anchor, outboard, etc.
The accommodations below are for overnighting, weekending, or longer cruises. There is a privacy curtain to separate the forward vee berth from those in the aft saloon. A galley unit with water supply and swing table is situated just after of the vee berth and has ample sitting head room. The aft bunks are over-sized for adults.
